The examination fee has been increased in recruiting staff in government institutions. On September 22, the Finance Department of the Ministry of Finance issued a notification in this regard. The notification was published on the website of the Ministry of Finance on Sunday. According to the notification, the 'examination fee' has been re-fixed in the recruitment of staffing in all ministries, departments, directorates, inspectorates, offices, and autonomous institutions. However, the previous 'fee' was not mentioned in the notification. Apart from this, the 'Examination Fee' has not been revised in the case of Cadre Service.

Per the notification, the examination fee for 9th grade or above (non-cadre) grade has been revised to Rs.600. Earlier, this fee was 500 rupees. In 10th grade, the fee remains unchanged at Tk 500. The examination fee also remains unchanged at Rs 300 for the 11th and 12th grades. However, from 13th to 16th grade, it has doubled from 100 takas, i.e., 200 takas. Fees have also doubled from 17th to 20th grade. These three grades have increased from 50 takas to 100 takas.
